How easy is it to use any Software?
Every software provider claims that their software application is easy to use. Claims of Free user friendly, drop dead easy application, intuitive, no training is required, idiot proof, a child can use it, are used by many vendors.
It may very well be easy to use by the developers, but is it easy to use by collectors?
Is the collection process easy to use by the Collector? Does the management of the agency activities increase work load? How about Clients management?
Is it one size fits all? Or one size customizable to fit the Agency’s needs and requirements?
D2R-Collect is not only flexible and customizable by the Agency, you can change the names of the menus, their structures, icons, to fit your specific business processes and business language.
If you do not have time for changing Menus, sub-menus and Menu names; well let us do it for you.
How about creating your own letters, does the system allow to create your own letters, add information about your client and Debtor?
D2R-Collect even allows you to add your own fields and enter them in the letters. Also, do mass printing jobs to streamline your work.
You don’t have time to create letters; well let us do it for you.
D2R-Collect gets your collectors productive in less than 30 minutes.
At a visit to a local Agency, a seasoned Collector asked me if “D2R-Collect was our system?” before I could make claim to the application ownership; he proceeded to say “it is beautiful, been using other collection software applications, some standard packages purchased by the Agency; others developed specifically to the Agency’s requirements; D2R is beautiful; I was able to start using immediately”. It is that magic word again “BEAUTIFUL”. Have you ever heard the word “beautiful” to describe a software application.
We think that this possible only by listening to the Collectors and Collection Agency management.
No more long weekends to catch up on the administrative work.
No more spreadsheets to keep track of activities or special lists to maintain commission records.
Some definitions I found of easy to use referred “Usability” as defined in Wikipidea.com (see here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Usability).
Wikipedia – “Usability is the ease of use and Learnability of a human-made object. The object of use can be a software application, website, book, tool, machine, process, or anything a human interacts with.”
ISO (International Organization for Standardization) – ISO defines usability as “The extent to which a product can be used by specified users to achieve specified goals with effectiveness, efficiency, and satisfaction in a specified context of use.” The word “usability” also refers to methods for improving ease-of-use during the design process. Usability consultant Jakob Nielsen and computer science professor Ben Shneiderman have written (separately) about a framework of system acceptability, where usability is a part of “usefulness” and is composed of:
- Learnability: How easy is it for users to accomplish basic tasks the first time they encounter the design?
- Efficiency: Once users have learned the design, how quickly can they perform tasks?
- Memorability: When users return to the design after a period of not using it, how easily can they re establish proficiency?
- Errors: How many errors do users make, how severe are these errors, and how easily can they recover from the errors?
- Satisfaction: How pleasant is it to use the design?
